Pilates classes
Classes run every week on:
Mondays at 2pm or 3pm for all ages and all abilities, beginners welcome
Mondays at 6pm for improvers or those who have done Pilates before or at 7pm for Advanced students
Wednesdays at 6.30pm for all ages and abilities, beginners welcome
Thursdays at 9.40am for all ages and abilities, beginners welcome
Thursdays at 6.15pm OR 7.15pm for all ages and abilities, beginners welcome
Our classes last for about 55 minutes. Initially you will be asked to complete a short health questionnaire so that your teacher can assess which exercises will be suitable for you. It is not advisable to start Pilates classes if you are pregnant unless you have already been training with the technique. You should check with your doctor first if you are very overweight , have high blood pressure, serious back problems or any cardiovascular problems.
You should wear comfortable clothes that allow free movement, we do not usually wear shoes or socks whilst exercising. Bring a mat or thick towel to lie on, a small cushion or pillow or small towel and a bottle of water
Participation in a class costs £6 per class if you pay by the half term in advance. You can also choose to pay for classes individually, this option will be £7.50 per class. Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 12 participants to ensure individual attention for every participant.
