The Mindfulness Meditation Seminar  Dates to be arranged for our next workshop
Recently mindfulness has come to the world’s attention as a way of working with and combating stress. In this one day seminar we explore what mindfulness is and how to practice mindfulness in our day to day lives.  Lita de Alberdi has been teaching mindfulness for several years and is a highly experienced meditation teacher.

What is mindfulness training?  Mindfulness is about being present in the moment.  A concept that is a fundamental part of meditation.  Mindfulness however does not require any religious commitment, it uses the practises and techniques of meditation brought bang up to date for the Western practitioner.
Mindfulness has proved practical and useful in a variety of ways, for example in pain management, in stress reductions and in relaxation.  Mindfulness can help to develop a more positive world view and thus combat depression.  It is also used extensively in preparing athletes and sports people for their competitions.
No previous experience of meditation is needed to learn these techniques.
